Just Eat operates multiple brands across different countries, all united under one umbrella. To ensure consistency and streamline the efforts of design and development teams, Just Eat recognised the need for
a comprehensive design system.
That’s when PIE was born - a ground-breaking solution designed to seamlessly connect various systems, products, and themes across the entire organization. By implementing PIE, Just Eat aims to foster collaboration, efficiency, and a unified brand experience worldwide.
From the beginning of the project, I played a crucial role in the Design System team.
Initially, I split my time, dedicating 20% to Design System work and 80% to my product-related responsibilities. However, in my final six months at JE, I fully transitioned to working exclusively on the Design System, devoting my undivided attention to its development and refinement.
